Teaching Philosophy

I prioritize creating an environment where dancers can explore their own voices within technical training. My work embraces a responsive reciprocity that is both humanistic and inclusive, reflecting our lives and relationships. My class is built on rigor with care, balancing discipline with support to encourage growth. Experimentation and collaboration take precedence over rigid direction in the rehearsal process, allowing performers to develop in their own chosen paths. Meanwhile, observers become active participants in the journey of intent. Inclusion is essential to my work—it invites exploration, with no wrong way to experience it.
